We aim to uplift and empower black women through our products and services.
Anu shares more about her experience starting a business, becoming a vendor at Black Girl Festival and her plans for growing her business.
Why did you want to be a part of Black Girl Festival?
I wanted to be a part of Black Girl festival because I wanted more exposure for my brand and to gain more brand recognition.
How was being a vendor at the festival?
Being a vendor at the festival was amazing, there were loads of people there to interact with and we got the opportunity to make sales of our products as well. I like the way that it was very organised and well set up.
What was it like being surrounded by other businesses owned by Black British women?
It was amazing and I think that this is something that should continuously happen in our communities so that we have the opportunity to support one another.
What does community mean to you?
Community means to me, people coming together for a similar purpose and supporting each other.
